Homeowner’s Association (HOA)
HOA membership is mandatory, as are annual dues. HOA expenses support the maintenance of the common property including the entrances on Ohio Drive and Lorimar Drive.  HOA dues also go toward insurance for the common areas, social events, and administrative expenses.

The Homeowner’s Association maintains a Board of Directors composed of up to seven officers, who each serve 3 year terms.  Board members are elected each year at the annual meeting in November. The officers are all volunteers and their activities focus on the maintenance and improvement of the common property, dealing with compliance and occasional legal issues, and working with the City of Plano on topics of interest to our homeowners.

The HOA does require advance approval of changes to the appearance of our homes. Items like putting up a new fence, painting a house, etc. should be approved in advance of the work being done. Architectural Approval Forms are available on this website under the Resident Forms link. The HOA encourages homeowners to read the Covenants, By-Laws, and Rules and Regulations, also available on this website under the Governing Documents link.  For guidelines on fences, mailboxes, solar panels, etc. please refer to these documents.

Board meetings are open to all homeowners and are held quarterly or as needed.  Please contact a board member to find out where those board meetings will be held if you are interested in attending.  An annual meeting is held every November where we approve the budget for the following year, set the annual dues amount, and discuss other topics pertaining to our community.  We highly encourage all residents to come to the annual meeting as we welcome your input and enjoy hearing from our community. The location of the meeting will be announced by the board every year.  All homeowners will receive notice of this meeting at least 10 days in advance.
